'Ambionica' by Producer Loops

was inspired by the Berlin School of 1970s artists like Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream.

It combines the vintage sounds of the seventies with contemporary sound design techniques.

In 1976 and 1977, David Bowie recorded a couple of albums in Berlin as he was so inspired by Berlin's artistic atmosphere. In these albums, you can hear subtle references to hits of the time.

Shortly afterwards, in 1979, Gregor Theelen frombought his first synthesizer and was totally inspired by Schulze, Tangerine Dream and Bowie. 'Ambionica' plays tribute to all of the heroes and teachers of his teenage years and the roots of.

The samples in this pack were all recorded using a single synthesizer called Synister, built at the University of Berlin.
